They all have a reason.
Every star in the sky seems small when we look at it from Earth, but its light has traveled for years to reach us. Perhaps that is why I have always thought that stars hold something deeper than a simple glow in the night.
There are people who pass through our lives like one of those stars: they light up a moment, change the way we see the world, and even if they are no longer close, their light continues to accompany us.
You were that for me.
Maybe you are no longer in my sky as you once were, maybe time and distance have changed the place you used to occupy. But your light did not disappear. It is still there, in the memories, in what I learned with you, and in everything you awakened inside me.
And although sometimes the sky may seem immense and silent, there are nights when I look up and still recognize that glow.
Because some stars, even when we can no longer reach them, continue to illuminate our days.
